About
My dissertation project turns around the late Victorian literature textbooks, and how illustrations function within the pedagogy of literacy.
My Master's thesis concerned Frederic Leighton's illustrations of George Eliot's _Romola_, and their relation to epic and history. I love working with visual arts, and I am so glad to contribute to the expanding field of illustrated Victorian fiction. For this research I received a FQRSC grant.
