About
I am currently working on my PhD in Biological Anthropology at the University of Alberta. I have a MS in Forensic Anthropology from Michigan State University and previously taught Medical Gross Anatomy.
My dissertation research focuses on the diet, health, and growth of subadults from Medieval Fishergate House, York. My research uses a variety of methods such as stable isotope analysis and historical sources to study maternal diet and infant feeding practices and how this affects the health and growth of children. I am also interested in subadult aging methods and the affect of ancestry on development.
